From class clowns to the perfectionists,
Grace has experience teaching all kinds of kids about the foundations of piano in a positive environment. |
Setting their own goals,
Grace's students learn to listen critically, and they find solutions to musical problems that work for their unique, creative minds, and their own individual hands, balancing musicality and comfortable technique. |
Each of her students learn valuable skills for life in general:
how to critically evaluate yourself, how to fail gracefully and then try again, how to accept new challenges, how to practice finely-tuned movements, how to develop commitment to an activity, how to articulate the emotions you are feeling, how to look at things from new perspectives, and so on.
